Marissa Kepple (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Psychological Associate who is committed to helping adolescents and adults to navigate life stress and achieve their goals. Her specialties include depression and anxiety, trauma, interpersonal issues, and substance use.
Marissa attended University of Houston – Clear Lake where she obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2022. Marissa previously worked at UHCL’s Psychological Services clinic during graduate school and completed her internship at UT Health Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addiction in Houston. At the UHCL clinic, she worked with community clients dealing with a broad range of issues from depression and anxiety to trauma and substance abuse. At UT Health, she worked with clients experiencing issues related to substance use; particularly cocaine, alcohol, and tobacco/nicotine use. Marissa continued to work at UT Health and received her LPA license in 2023.
Marissa believes that a strong therapeutic relationship with clients is a powerful tool for growth. As a therapist, her style is characterized by empathy, sincerity, and warmth. Marissa believes that providing a non-judgmental and supportive environment allows clients to reach their full potential and overcome challenges. Having worked with a diverse range of clients, Marissa understands that every person has their own unique perspective on life. She is sensitive to these experiences, cultures, and values, and believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Marissa strives to provide a space for clients to find happiness, cope with stress, and learn new ways of understanding themselves and their world.

- Aetna
- Cigna
- For all other insurance companies or out-of-network plans, she will provide you with a superbill that you can file with your insurance company for reimbursement.
Marissa is a Licensed Psychological Associate with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council/Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (Texas License #39794, expires 11/30/2024.)
