Dr. Peter Valle (he/him/his) Dr. Peter Valle is a postdoctoral therapist who is experienced in working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Dr. Valle is fluent in both English and Spanish and is able to provide therapy in both languages. He completed his Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and his Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University.
Dr. Valle has experience working with clients with addiction problems, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and a variety of other mental health concerns. He also has considerable experience conducting psychological testing and diagnostic assessments.
As a Christian, Dr. Valle is able to provide therapy through a biblical perspective for clients who are interested. Though he is a Christian, Dr. Valle respects the religious beliefs of all clients and does not impose his values on clients. Religious beliefs will only be a part of the therapeutic process if the client wishes to do so.
Dr. Valle is a veteran of the U.S. Navy who also specializes in veteran-specific issues such as PTSD. His previous work experience includes substance abuse counselor in the United States Navy working with young sailors and marines, Chemical Dependency Specialist at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare San Diego, California, and Addiction Therapist at the VA hospital in Houston.

- United Healthcare
- For all other insurance companies or out-of-network plans, he will provide you with a superbill that you can file with your insurance company for reimbursement.
Dr. Valle is a Provisionally Licensed Psychologist with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council/Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (Texas License #39937, expires 8/08/2025.)
