Dr. Becky Siekierski

Dr. Becky Siekierski (she/her/hers), or “Dr. Becky”, is a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents from toddlers to teens. She obtained her PhD in School Psychology from Texas A&M University and has over 23 years of experience in group practice, community mental health, hospital settings, and public schools.

Dr. Becky is a compassionate child psychologist who provides a comprehensive, personalized approach to supporting children and their families. She conducts thorough evaluations to identify each child’s strengths and needs and then creates individualized recommendations to address their challenges in the home, community, and educational settings.

In therapy, Dr. Becky integrates evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and behavior principles to help children develop coping skills, improve interpersonal interactions, and become more effective at regulating their emotions and behaviors. She understands that many children struggle to communicate verbally, so she utilizes therapeutic activities and games, books, creative and artistic modalities, and other forms of play to reach their goals in therapy. Dr. Becky also offers valuable parenting support, guiding parents in learning strategies to improve communication, limit setting, and other ways to strengthen their relationship with their child. As a strong advocate for collaboration, Dr. Becky works closely with parents and schools to ensure that children receive the support they need, from evaluations to special education programming and behavioral support.
