Dr. Brittany Dancer, Psy.D (She/Her/Hers), is a provisionally licensed psychologist specializing in therapy for children and adolescents. She believes that compassionate intervention can create meaningful and lasting change-not only for young people navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, but for their families as well. She strives to create a safe, developmentally appropriate space where young clients feel understood, supported, and empowered and caregivers feel supported and have clarity.
Through both therapy and assessment, her mission is to help her clients and their caregivers understand and navigate their emotional landscapes, cope with overwhelming past experiences, and build a foundation for lifelong growth and emotional health. Her personal philosophy is that every child and teen has the potential to thrive when given the right support and tools. She believes in building a trusting therapeutic relationship, valuing each child’s distinct strengths, and fostering resilience through empathy and encouragement.
Her therapeutic approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed. She personalizes treatment to fit each child’s unique needs, drawing from modalities that support emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy coping skills. She engages closely with caregivers, offering strategies to enhance their child’s therapy and ensuring treatment is holistic and aligned with the youth’s environment, recognizing that a family-centered approach is a fundamental component of lasting progress and healing.
