Chantelle Kean has worked in a variety of clinical settings conducting assessments and providing counseling services. She spent three years as a Registered Behavior Technician, where she conducted assessments to support clients in retaining their insurance coverage. She also worked as a psychometrist at a private neuropsychology practice for three years, providing cognitive testing services.
Her counseling experience includes individual and group therapy at the UHCL Psychological Services Center and the Hope and Healing Center and Institute. Chantelle’s therapeutic approach incorporates interpersonal psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, and insomnia, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
Chantelle enjoys working with adults of all ages for therapy, and with children, teenagers, and adults for assessments. Her areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress, and trauma. She is also enthusiastic about broadening her assessment skills and is open to working with a wide range of evaluation types beyond cognitive testing.
