Ryan McAdams (he/him/his) is a Licensed Psychological Associate who provides individual therapy for children, teens, and adults. Ryan received his Master’s degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2022.
Ryan has experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. He has extensive experience working with children, from working in after-school programs to working as an ABA therapist, and brings this background to his therapeutic approach. He has also worked as a therapist with both child and adult clients dealing with distress from trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and grief.
If you’re looking for someone who is genuine, compassionate, and truly wants to work with you to improve your situation, Ryan is the therapist for you. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as his therapeutic approach, by collaborating with the client to identify areas of difficulty in their life, understanding where they’re coming from, and through that understanding, being able to identify and better cope and adapt. He excels at finding clients’ strengths, and helping them be able to see their strengths too.
Ryan understands that we all experience life in our own ways, and therapy with him will always reflect and accommodate that. Between his genuine care for his clients, his therapeutic approach, and his understanding that every client is on a unique journey, Ryan is able to help clients make true progress. He knows that therapy can be hard to start and continue, but with him as your compassionate and knowledgeable guide, the load can be lessened, leading to a much more fulfilling experience and whole life.

- Aetna
- For all other insurance companies or out-of-network plans, he can provide you with a superbill that you can file with your insurance company for reimbursement.
Ryan is a Licensed Psychological Associate with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council/Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (Texas License #40086, expires 6/30/2025.)
