Annie Bernica (she/her) is a student therapist dedicated to working with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of concerns. Annie’s primary areas of focus are anxiety, adjustment issues, health-related concerns, and interpersonal problems.
For Annie, therapy should be tailored to the individual in the room. There isn’t a perfect guide or manual for any type of individual or area of concern. We all have our unique strengths, struggles, and life stories that shape our inner voices, how we interact with others, and how we view the world. Annie, therefore, integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches into her work with patients, including interpersonal, behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance-based frameworks.
Born and raised in Houston, Annie is a graduate student at University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) in the Clinical Psychology masters program. She’s previously worked as a research assistant at Houston Neuroscience Brain Center and as a student psychotherapist at the UHCL Psychological Services Center.
