Summer Ijarah

Licensed Psychological Associate - working with children, adolescents, and parents
Summer Ijarah specializes in treating anxiety, fear/phobias, and trauma. She also has experience working with clients at the Women’s Home with various other concerns and challenges. Summer is an integrative therapist who synthesizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with theories and techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based practices to create individualized treatments that meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, goal-oriented, and trauma-informed. She values developing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients and creating a safe and supportive space where they can feel understood and empowered to reach their full positive potential.
Summer Ijarah is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) who provides individual therapy to clients of all ages. She earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in December 2025.
