Yewande Ojeniyi (Ye) (she/ her/ hers) is a licensed psychological associate (LPA) who is dedicated to helping adolescents and young adults navigate life transitions, interpersonal relationships, ang gain a better understanding of their world.
Yewande earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake and completed her master’s Level Internship in Harris County Juvenile Probation Center. She has experience in university counseling centers and private practice servicing all ages –from children to older adults. She is also experienced in working with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal problems, and assessments.
Further, Yewande is committed to cultivating a nurturing and empowering space where clients feel seen and encouraged as they work through life’s challenges. She has been recognized for her sincerity, empathy, warmth, and nonjudgmental presence, aiming to help clients in exploring their experiences to support transformation, resilience, and emotional well-being. Her therapeutic style is integrative and personalized, drawing from mindfulness-based, solution focused, and person-centered approaches to best support each person’s individual path.
