I am most interested in working with adults, older adolescents, and couples. I would like to work with clients dealing with adjustment issues, anxiety, or interpersonal/relational problems. I would also like to learn more about administering assessments.
Lilly Anderson (She/her/hers) is a student therapist and master’s student dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, and couples with a variety of issues. Her main areas of focus are adjustment issues, anxiety, and interpersonal/relational problems.
Lilly earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station and is currently a master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of St. Thomas. She has previous experience working as a research assistant for a neuroscience lab at Texas A&M University and as an intern at Sparrow House Counseling in Dallas, TX.
Lilly’s approach to therapy includes collaboration between counselor and client in a safe, nonjudgemental environment. She believes there is beauty in our differences and that each session and approach should differ depending on the specific needs of the client. Lilly uses an integrative approach of client-centered, independent, relational, and acceptance-based frameworks tailored to allow clients to work toward their goals in the way most fitting for their unique set of strengths.
